2017 M’akola Holiday Gift Program

This year, thanks to the generous support of our suppliers and vendors we have been able to raise nearly $18,000 for the family members we serve across BC through the M’akola Holiday Gift Fund, doubling last year’s efforts.

We sent out letters to all of our vendors across BC requesting donations to go towards gifts for our tenants. This is the most successful year yet. We are mailing more than 200 Christmas cards with gift cards to our tenants and residents.  We randomly selected tenants from all regions of BC and ensured our Elders, single parents, small families and large families are all represented in our program.

Many of the families and Elders we serve will receive these gifts due to the generosity of our vendors and suppliers. Each contribution is making someone’s Christmas merrier.

We are extending a big thank you to all our vendors and suppliers whose generosity this year is a true testament to the great work M’akola is doing and every one of our team members plays an important role in the work we do.
