M’akola has been featured in the Business Transformation: Promising Practices for Social and Affordable Housing in Canada report, through Housing Partnership Canada.
A case study was written on M’akola featuring our practices of operation, the transformation and growth of the Society as well as other key strategies we have adopted and use throughout our portfolio.
The report also provides valuable insight into the challenges of the affordable housing sector. M’akola is just one of many success stories presented in the report showing innovation and initiatives in the sector.
This report was the basis of a presentation to the International Housing Partnership early October in Chicago where the leading affordable housing providers from Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and the United States gathered to learn what some of the successful transformations have been.
