M’akola provides family housing, Assisted Living for Elders and seniors, and housing for youth (19-31), singles and couples. Some of our complexes are for Indigenous families only, others are open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous applicants.
TO APPLY FOR HOUSING
To Apply for subsidized housing:
M’akola Housing Society selects tenants from the Housing Registry. In order to be eligible for one of our family households you need have an active BC Housing file. A BC Housing application can be completed online, in one of our regional offices, or printed off and mailed to your local BC Housing office.
To inquire about the status of your application or to assist you in completing your application you can contact the Housing Registry, toll free, at 1-800-257-7756.
To Apply for M’akola affordable rent (Non-Subsidized) housing:
M’akola Housing Society advertises current vacancies when they become available. To inquire about current non-subsidized affordable rent units and the eligibility criteria contact affordablerent@makola.bc.ca or call 1-877-384-1423.
