M’akola has turned 36, on February 6, 2020. Every year we like to do something fun to celebrate and mark the date that started everything we work for.
M’akola was started by five people sitting around a table hoping to provide safe, affordable housing to Indigenous people. It was that idea and 36 years of hard work from all of our team members; M’akola Housing Society has been able to grow, and continue to serve 5,000 members across our province.
Each of our offices decorated cakes to celebrate our 36 years providing safe, affordable housing to Indigenous people in BC.
