M’akola recognizes the value of internships and co-ops, both to the employer and to the intern/student.
It is M’akola’s intention to ensure that all internships or co-ops are provided a learning experience opportunity in a supportive, encouraging, and meaningful way. We will seek to ensure that individuals are provided with a structured program of work as well as time to learn through conversations, navigating systems, and ad hoc projects. M’akola understands that interns/students joining our team, even short-term, have skills and perspectives that M’akola can benefit and learn from.
M’akola’s aim is to maximize learning through exposure to a wide range of different experiences, while also providing practical experience that will be valuable and transferable to future employment opportunities.
