Okanagan BC

M’akola Housing Society expanded to the Okanagan region in 2022. M’akola has an apartment in Oliver that provides safe, affordable housing for individuals, couples, Elders, and families. New housing is in development.

Our Housing

Each home has eligibility criteria including household size, income, and family ancestry. In the Okanagan M’akola owns and operates M’akola Rent Geared to Income (MRGI) and M’akola Low End of Market (MLEM) homes.

Homes in the Okanagan do not require applicants to identify as Indigenous, but as an Indigenous housing provider, preference is given to Indigenous applicants. To learn more about what housing you may be eligible for visit our applicants page.
